Assistant Biomedical Engineer
The appointee will report duty to the Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) with office in the Hong Kong Science Park. MRC is a company under TR at CUHK Company Limited, involves in the R&D and business in surgical robots and the related medical technologies. 

Job Description:

•    Support the operations of the MRC Lab with Hybrid Operating Theatre, equipped with MRI and C-Arm X-Ray for preclinical evaluation of novel surgical robotics R&D;
•    Support safety compliance management, preparation of standard operation procedures, and coordinate the maintenance of medical equipment in MRC Lab;
•    Provide onsite biomedical engineering support to R&D teams during preclinical studies;
•    Carry out desktop research on novel medical and surgical technologies;
•    Contribute biomedical engineering inputs in R&D meetings, in terms of pre-clinical evaluation, regulatory and compliance;

•    Carry out special projects and tasks assigned by superiors.

 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering or related Engineering fields;
•    Fresh graduates are welcome;
•    Good interpersonal, writing and presentation skills;
•    Mature, self-motivated and result-oriented;
•    Excellent command of spoken and written English, Putonghua and Cantonese.

 

Salary & Benefits:
We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a 1-or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Marketing Associate

Job Description:

•    Assist the organization of seminar, workshop and guided tours in MRC laboratory;
•    Assist the drafting of presentations, promotional materials and reports;
•    Support the update of contents on MRC webpages and other publicity e-channels;
•    Support desktop research and market analysis;
•    Engage with local and overseas partners from academia, industry and investment sectors;
•    Carry out special projects and tasks assigned by superiors.

 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor degree in business, marketing or equivalent disciplines;
•    Fresh graduate is welcomed;
•    Positive attitude and with great attention to details;
•    Self-motivated, proactive and strong problem-solving skills;
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills;

•    Excellent command of written and spoken Putonghua, English and Cantonese;

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Job Highlights

Job Description:

(a)    Perform project management and handling the Center’s liaison, research projects, and secretarial tasks; 
(b)    Assist HR matters and staff onboarding;
(c)    Perform finance and procurement tasks; 
(d)    Assist in the organisation of events, including conferences, public talks, seminars and academic visits; 
(e)    Provide support to the office administration and daily operations;
(f)    Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s).

 

Job Requirements:

(a)    A good Bachelor’s degree; 
(b)    At least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience; 
(c)    An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); 
(d)    Proficiency in Chinese word-processing and computer applications, such as MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); 
(e)    Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; 
(f)    Strong analytical ability and organisational skills; 
(g)    A strong sense of responsibility and accuracy, attentiveness to details, and the willingness to work hard and learn; 
(h)    Ability to multi-task, work independently and proactively.
